gorilla of the month vol. I: the supreme genius of king khan and the shrines

Welcome to the first monthly installment of the gorilla of the month club (a concept loosely based on Oprah's Book Club, only with shit that rules). Since this is the initial go-around, I figured I'd make it at least somewhat Mohawk-related, so let's talk about that King Khan and the Shrines show next month that promises to be one of the best things you've ever seen. I was fairly psyched about this show when Moody originally told me about it, but that was before I read this harrowing tale over at the Black Lips' blog about how Khan drinks his own pee and chases it with random dude's blood, then proceeds to destroy the club and get banned from the venue, all in the same night. And now of course I'm super psyched about it.
