Transmission Entertainment and its booking group has more than 20 years of experience booking independent and progressive music all over the United States, and is based in the Mothership of Austin, Texas. Transmission is built on the idea that people make the difference. Our booking team knows independent music, has a proven track record of success, and works exclusively with live music venues to bring unique talent and experiences to those stages. From indie to hardcore, hip hop to punk, DJ to metal, Transmission Entertainment specializes in the ‘whats gonna be’ as opposed to ‘what already is’. If you are interested in being either an Exclusive Transmission venue or an Affiliate Transmission venue, please contact us at to learn more.

Club de Ville

Known for its legendary rock-walled patio, outstanding cocktails, and cozy, dimly lit charm, the Club de Ville has become an Austin icon.  Over the past ten years, as both a cocktail lounge and a live music venue, the Club de Ville has hosted the likes of Robbie Williams, Son Volt, Russell Crowe, Grizzly Bear, The Polyphonic Spree, The Brazilian Girls, Kris Kristofferson, Pelican, Caribou, and Austins only Annual Beard and Moustache competition.  Every night is what you make of it at the Club de Ville.

Mohawk

Handmade on Red River from reused and recycled materials, The Mohawk Austin was reinvented in 2006 as a place for stout drinks, original live music, and private events. Crafted by people who love the city, the sound, and the land in equal portions, the Mohawk is a rock and roll joint where all are welcome to get together and get down. The Mohawk was built and is driven by a tribe of Austinites who work everyday to bring something different to the table. From poster and digital art and clever renovation to booking and blogging, the Mohawk is the home to a diverse creative culture.

The Mohawk Austin draws its inspiration from the Native American culture of the Northeast, not from the hairdo. But if you've got one, feel free to bring it on over.

Lamberts

Lamberts is all about good food, good drinks, and good music.  From the modern renovation of the historic Schneider Store, to "Fancy Barbecue," to the state-of-the-art showcase room, Lamberts is known for taking classic and historic elements and presenting them in a fresh new sort of way.

Lamberts takes pride in having one of the most beautiful and best sounding live music venues in Austin.  The stage, lighting, and sound serves as a pristine blank canvas for the musicians and the art they produce.  The custom sound system was designed to sound great on the stage for the musician, and throughout the venue for the music enthusiast.  This is just one example of their commitment to the artist and fan experience.  Musicians are treated like family at Lamberts, so they feel comfortable to perform their very best.

So whether you're looking for a dry-aged ribeye, a 25-year scotch, or some of the best music Austin has to offer, you can find all three and more at Lamberts Downtown Barbecue.

Red 7

The Red 7 is Austins principal hardcore room, near the corner of Red River and 7th street.  Inspired by DIY-style punk and hardcore shows common in basements and abandoned warehouses around the world.  The Red 7 is run entirely by kids born and bred in the Texas punk/hardcore scene. Blah-blah some shit about "giving something back" and "supporting the scene."

Longhorn Caverns

Longhorn Cavern State Park
Bastrop, TX
http://www.longhorncaverns.com/

Longhorn Cavern State Park features Longhorn Cavern, a Texas Hill Country wonder created over thousands of years by the dissolving and cutting action of water on the limestone bedrock of the area. Fossil remains show that many Ice Age animals once occupied the cave.

Our earliest records indicate that the Comanche Indians were the first to use the cavern. They came in about 400 years or so before anyone else did.
In more recent history, the cavern was used as a Confederate stronghold where gunpowder was manufactured in secret during the Civil War. The cavern is also rumored to have been the hideout of Sam Bass, a legendary Texas outlaw.
